The Professor Was Skeptical, But Here’s What Happened to Me
Paul Knoepfler, Ph.D., a professor of cell biology at UC Davis, reviewed the research on the patches and wasn't impressed.
In a post titled "LifeWave X39 stem cell patch story has holes,” he wrote, "There is no solid peer-reviewed evidence that these patches activate or regenerate stem cells."
He added that the studies were small, unregistered on ClinicalTrials.gov, and not published in rigorous journals.
That was his opinion. But let me tell you what happened to me.
When I first heard about these patches, I thought they were just another health product. Then I learned the company behind them has been in business for 23 years. Not a fad. Not a fly-by-night thing.
I started using them for two reasons: to help me sleep better and maybe make a little money. Honestly, I didn't expect much.
The first week I wore several different patches. Then the symptoms started. I had mucus in my throat, kept clearing it, and my voice was raspy at times.
One evening I came home at 5 p.m. and crashed on the couch for five hours. I woke up briefly, then went back to bed and slept another ten hours.
Later I learned about the 70/30 rule: 70 percent notice something on the first day, while 30 percent don’t feel anything. Both are normal. I was in the 70 percent group.
My shoulder was first. I hurt it raking leaves. It had ached for months and wouldn't heal. After I started wearing one of the patches, the pain gradually went away.
Next was a skin tag on my left leg. I'd had it for months and tried tea tree oil and magnesium lotion. Nothing worked. Then one day, to my surprise, it was gone.
And then came my "wow" moment.
I'd read the testimonials. I'd watched the videos. People said the patches helped them right away – less pain, faster healing, feeling better. I thought, that's nice. But I hadn’t had a dramatic result myself.
Then my right wrist started hurting. Carpal tunnel pain. I put a patch on it. I wasn't expecting anything. But immediately, the pain was gone.
I sat there thinking… wow. It happened to me too.
According to LifeWave, David Schmidt holds 94 issued patents (over 70 in regenerative science and technology) and cites more than 80 clinical trials on the patches.
He's a two-time international technology award winner. And he's been running LifeWave since 2002. You don't last that long unless you have products that work.
So here's my take: my shoulder healed. My skin tag disappeared. My wrist stopped hurting. And I sleep better.
You can believe Professor Knoepfler or you can believe what happened to me.
