Daily Diet Soft Drinks Increases Heart Attack Risk
A recent study shows people who drink soft drinks every day increase their risk for stroke or heart attack.
Published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine, the study found that people who drink diet soft drinks on a daily basis increase their risk of stroke or heart attack by forty-three percent, compared to those who drank none.
One likely reason is diet soft drink consumption can significantly lower your levels of magnesium. Low levels of magnesium can lead to heart attacks and strokes.
Seventy-five percent of people are deficient in magnesium, fifty percent severely.
